 It is with regret that I announce the death of a former member of the Cork Chapter of the Irish Woodturners Guild, Larry Clarke.

Larry was a Gentleman, always friendly and with a ready smile

LARRY CLARKE (Lorcan) Ladysbridge, Co. Cork and formerly of Artane, Dublin. (Ex Aer Lingus Dublin and Cork). On March 1st 2022 peacefully in the excellent care of Oaklodge Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Theresa, brother of Seamus, Frank, Roisín (Fitzgerald) and companion Rose, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Anyone attending the funeral is encouraged to use hand sanitiser and to consider using a face covering while indoors especially. Thank you.

 

Larry will repose on Friday in Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton on Friday from 3pm to 5pm for family and friends.

Requiem Mass on Saturday 5th at 1130am in St. Mary’s Church, Ladysbridge followed by a cremation service at the Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy at 2pm.

 It is with deep regret we announce the death of our friend and committee member Bill OMahoney . Bill was a gentleman and a kind and outstanding  member of the Cork Chapter IWG. For many years he set up the viewing and recording of our workshops  We the members of the Cork Chapter Irish Woodturners Guild offer our sincere condolences to Kathleen, Bills wife, and his family. May Bill Rest in Peace.

O’MAHONY (Skehard Road, Blackrock, Cork): On February 26th, 2022, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the excellent care of the staff at the Cork University Hospital WILLIAM (Bill), dearly beloved husband of Kathleen, loving father of Liam, Diarmuid, Catherine, Barry and Philip, dear brother of Michael, Anne and the late Marie.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, grandchildren Seán, Olivia, Anna, Kate, Aoileann, Orlaith, Niamh, Diarmuid, James, Alice, Joseph, Kathleen, Will, Tom, Fionn and Méabh, daughters-in-law Sara, Mary, Elaine and Eileen, son-in-law Steve, extended family and a large circle of friends.
